Financial Controller
About the Role
Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller to join a growing Group of businesses on the outskirts of Yeadon.
Working closely with the Finance Director and senior management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Finance team.
What will you be doing?
- Overseeing the delivery of the monthly management reporting and variance analysis to the Board
- Assisting with the preparation of business forecasts
- Reviewing of the key control accounts
- Responsible for overseeing transactional finance
- Liaising with the auditors and third-party advisors
- Implementing policies and procedures
- Monitoring KPI's
- Partnering with the Operations team
- Dealing with client contracts
- Providing support on key projects
What skills do we need?
- Fully qualified Accountant, ideally ACA/CIMA/ACCA
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience of Sage and Xero is preferable
- Experience in managing a team
