About the Role

Sewell Wallis are working with an extremely well-known and long-standing business based in Keighley who are currently looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their well-established team.

Working in a team of 5 and reporting to the FC, you will form strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and take ownership of the full purchase ledger process as well as assist the wider finance team.

What will you be doing? 

  • Updating the cashbook with bank transactions.
  • Printing invoices, batching and coding.
  • Reconciling bank statements.
  • Updating cashflow forecast.
  • Reconciling PL payments onto the system.
  • Completing monthly payment run.
  • Reconciling bank statements to trial balance.
  • Updating spreadsheets on Excel.
  • Working closely with the wider finance team, FC and FD.

What skills are we looking for?  

  • Experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk with over 5 years' experience in this area looking after the full process.
  • A team player, happy to get stuck in and help out with other areas of finance.
  • Strong communicator with excellent people skills.

What's on offer?

  • Salary on offer will be in the region of £28,000 with an excellent pension contribution on offer.
  • Modern offices located in central Keighley close to great transport links.
  • Holidays are 25 + bank, with a discretionary bonus on offer.
