Hannah Blakey

Marketing & Communications Officer

Hannah is our Marketing & Communications officer, making sure our socials are up to scratch and producing all of our content.

She’s worked in the recruitment sector since 2016, mainly within growing businesses; her experience is a unique blend of resourcing and marketing roles, making her perfectly placed to help develop our marketing strategy and polish our content.

When she’s not writing content or managing our socials, you’ll either find her at a gig, or possibly camping. A self confessed foodie, she loves hosting a dinner party – just don’t ask her to make you a cake. She also runs social events within the LGBTQ+ community in her free time, and when she’s done with all of that, you’ll find her on the sofa with her partner, a videogame and her ginger cat, Ezra!

What’s your Sewell Wallis speciality?

I deal with anything to do with marketing, communications and events.

What’s your favourite thing about your job?

Being able to combine my recruitment experience with my interest in marketing and content creation. Also, it sounds contrived, but everything is different and that makes it exciting!

What’s your superpower?

Organisation. I’m that friend that plans everything – trips away, birthday parties, even people’s weddings. You can hire me, but I only take payment in the form of gig tickets and camping gear.

Typically, permanent recruitment is the go-to, but what it can lack is the agility that businesses need at the moment to respond to the current market fluctuations we’re seeing. Temporary and contract hires can provide you with a powerful alternative; using interim talent can give you flexibility and control over the costs typically associated with hiring. They can also provide you with access to specialist skills that you might need to get through a specific project, or through a period of change in your organisation.
