Lewis Walker

Lewis started his career in 2014, selling card machines for a leading provider, before quickly making the step into recruitment in 2016. Similar to many people who find themselves in the industry, it was kind of an accident!

He joined Sewell Wallis in 2019 as a candidate manager for the senior desk, but quickly moved into a consultant role the following year. 2023 saw him being promoted to Senior Consultant, working the Transactional Finance desk and recruiting across temporary and permanent roles.

Outside of work Lewis has a keen interest in fashion, and music, he loves attending gigs and festivals. He loves a night in the pub with his mates, and being a dog Dad to his girlfriend’s dog, Fig.

What’s your Sewell Wallis speciality?

I deal with transactional level finance up to £35k in the South Yorkshire region.

What’s your favourite thing about your job?

I love the fast-paced nature of the role; I love constantly being busy and really hammering the phone until I know I have got an amazing shortlist. I really like that I am constantly being pushed to do better by my peers. I get on really well with everyone who works here and I massively appreciate the support I'm given on a day to day basis.

If you could visit anywhere in the world where you go?

Tokyo – I want to eat the best sushi in the world and experience the Sakura trees in full bloom!
