Credit Controller - 12 month contract
About the Role
Sewell Wallis are recruiting for a global firm in the heart of Sheffield. This business are operating in 40+ countries and well over 50 offices worldwide.
Due to someone going off on maternity, they're looking for an experienced Credit Control to join the team for a 12 month period. In an ideal world, you will be an experienced Credit Controller who isn't afraid to get on the phone and recover the debt.
What will you be doing?
- Chasing customer payments in line with payment terms to minimise bad debt.
- Handling of all interactions received into Credit Control ensuring all requests are completed and successfully resolved within the agreed service level.
- Looking for process improvement opportunities.
- Working to daily targets set by the Team Leader.
- Working with individual and business overdue debt reduction targets and cash collection.
- Working on customer disputes to help minimise outstanding debt and escalate to the appropriate business owners.
- Creating and categorising outbound service requests.
What skills are we looking for?
- Experience in Credit Control.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to hit targets and KPIs.
