I have worked with Chloe on a number of placements in my team. She has always taken the time and effort to understand what I need as the hiring manager from the individual and help filter candidates to the role on offer.

She has taken a lot time to understand the company as well as the team role to get the best candidate not just on experience but also on team fit. Candidates have always come prepared to interviews and I know Chloe would have helped prep them and encourage them before and afterwards, which has made sure the candidates are making the right impression.

Chloe has always been a pleasure to work with, she has a great attitude and drive in her work and we have always been delighted with the candidates she has provided us for temporary roles with some taking on permanent positions when they’ve become available. She takes the time to check in the candidates and myself, even weeks after the placement.

Always a pleasure working with her!

Always received an excellent professional service from Chloe for recruitment requirements over the past few years. A good selection of candidates has always been put forward and has proved to be very successful in filling positions. A delight to work with.

Recruiting with Chloe was straightforward and effortless – a busy HR Manager’s dream!

I worked with Chloe on two positions within CVL’s Accounts Department. Chloe showed a real commitment to securing interviews with a wide range of relevant and high quality candidates. The candidates interviewed were well prepared having received an effective brief from Chloe.

Throughout the process, Chloe’s communication was faultless. The frequency of contact was appropriate and always provided quality information.   The candidates settled in very quickly and are performing exceptionally well.

Chloe maintained contact during the candidates’ probationary periods - a service that should always be received and seldom is.   I look forward to working with Chloe again in the future.

Leeds to Liverpool Cycle for Brain Tumour Research 💛

Leeds to Liverpool Cycle for Brain Tumour Research 💛

On 27th April, Suli and I attempted the Leeds to Liverpool cycle, a 126 mile ride covering the whole canal length, with beautiful scenery. We took on this challenge to raise money for Brain Tumour Research, Sewell Wallis’ charity partner of the year. This is a cause close to our hearts, as our colleague, Hannah Bateman, lost her dad to a brain tumour in 2023. We were determined to raise a ton of money and tackle this huge challenge head-on; neither of us are cyclists and we hadn’t done any training, so it would be an absolute slog. The first 27 miles from Leeds to Skipton were pretty tough as our bodies got used to it, but nothing compared to what was to come! The paths were flat, level and straight; overall it was actually a really nice ride. It was, however, absolutely freezing as it was only 9:20 am by the time we got to our first stop.

Demystifying Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace

Diversity, equity and inclusion (EDI) in the workplace is not just a moral obligation – it makes good business sense. As a leading recruiter with over 25 years of experience, I often advise companies on strategies to create an equitable and inclusive work culture that attracts and retains top talent from diverse backgrounds. I recently had the pleasure of running an HR Business Breakfast for 25 HR professionals in Sheffield alongside CMP Legal.
